INDUSTRY TRAINING

Industry training is that specified by an industry, in this case the electrical supply industry (ESI).

This training is not Nationally recognised training and may not be recognised outside the industry concerned.

Electrical Supply Industry training requirements can be complex with variations between states and individual networks. For those “in the industry” this page sets out the training that ESI Training and Consulting can deliver. For those not in the industry, or are having trouble working out what rules or organisation they come under please see the explanation on our links page.

ESI Training and Consulting’ Industry training can be grouped into two main categories:

  • VESI (Power Company) refresher and non accredited training as per the VESI Skills and Training Guideline (SAD, CPR, EWP Rescue & Escape, VESI Safety & Environment, etc)
  • Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) refresher training (council and other non power company) for vegetation workers around powerlines
